A “hard” gel is better for holding edges, like an edge control, but might create buildup quicker and flake. A “medium” gel is better for wash-n-go’s and styling, such as a twist out. You can select what you’d like below. Freezing this product will give it virtually no shelf-life. It takes about an 10 minutes to thaw out and can be continuously kept in the freezer.

The gel works well on 4C hair with multiple uses, of course. I recommend occasionally using it as a curl enhancer due to its excellent retention within hair!
A very light gel and does not make your hair flaky. It does not strip any oils from your hair like other store bought gels, it actually restores the oils you need in your hair. Great if you want to do a wash and go and define your curls.
